Ever been surfing the internet only to see Google ads which coincidently match companies who’s websites you recently visited?
Well it’s not a new thing but we’ve never written about it before – it’s called remarketing, and it’s something that you can set up too!
Remarketing with Google is particularly cool if you need to strengthen your brand online, or if you run an e-commerce website, and want to pull back those customers who perhaps browsed through your products, but exited prior to an online purchase.
You will have seen these animated banner graphic ad’s on sites such as ebay which displays a lot of them. In fact, there are tens of thousands of website which make up Google’s display network, all showing banner ads of different shapes and sizes depending on the space they have available for Google ads.
Setting up a remarketing campaign is really easy to do and can be done via the typical adwords control panel. Google even provide a nifty bit of software funtionality which will put together your banner ads in all the shapes and sizes in which they might be shown throughout the world wide web.
