It’s been an absolute delight to work with Preston‘s leading facilities management company and to bring their digital marketing into 2015!
Having become disillusioned with web designers, search engine optimisers and hosting companies as a result of poor results, slow communication and bad design in the past, it was with a degree of trepidation that we entered into initial discussions about the company website moving forward.
We’re happy to say now though, that the reaction of this fantastic organisation which – to be fair, really deserve a great online presence – to their new website has been one of immense excitement and positivity.
What did we do?
We had a great chat with them to get a feel for their business. What is profitable to them? Where would they like to see leads coming from geographically? Who are their prospects? What motivates them? That type of thing.
Next we looked at some existing websites that they thought reflected the image that they wanted to put out there.
It quickly became apparent that with so many professional services under their belts, the best way do effectively deliver the right message to their prospects would be with video.
We set out filming their operations over 3 days and managed to capture some great staff shots, a natural genuine client testimonial and some work being carried out on-site.
We worked together to edit the video and then got cracking on the website.
The website, which features the video (hosted on Vimeo) in pride of place on the home page, was developed using WordPress and was designed to be fully mobile responsive. The widescreen, modern website uses images captured from the video to create deep parallax background textures which deliver a visually pleasing feel to the whole thing.
Using different background imagery on each page created an interesting website with a tonne of character.
